Activities & Kid - Friendly Things to Do:

Artist’s Point – It’s a great walk though a small forest! Easy climbing, crawling, rock stacking/throwing, water splashing, wave watching, picnicking, dog walking, etc. The path begins at the Coast Guard Station (parking lot where Broadway Ave. ends).

Grand Marais RV Park and Campground - Recreation Area - Sweethearts' Bluff hiking trail. Located on the far west side of the campground, this is a nice hiking trail for all levels. Take the flat lakeside loop, or the more challenging trail up the bluff for several scenic vistas of Grand Marais and the lake.

Playgrounds – Sawtooth Elementary (1st Ave. E., across Co. Rd. 7, back parking lot), Grand Marais Recreation Area (Hwy. 61 & W. 8th Ave.), Cook County Community Center (Co. Rd. 7 & W. 3rd Ave.)

Swimming – Grand Marais Municipal Pool (Hwy. 61 & W. 8th Ave.) - enjoy the large pool, wading pool for the young ones, hot tub whirlpool, sauna, Aquaclimb poolside climbing wall, locker rooms and showers.
