The motel is open year-round, and you can conveniently reserve your room online at www.bythe harbor.com. The Wild Onion Cafe will re-open in May 2008.

At the Harbor Inn, our custom-decorated rooms with balconies overlook the spectacular Grand Marais harbor and lighthouse. Tasteful appointments and coordinated linens add a home-style touch to your stay. Rooms include phones, refrigerators, coffee pots and outdoor seating where smoking is permitted.

Our restaurant, The Wild Onion Cafe, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily from May to mid-October. Specialties include: blueberry pancakes, homemade soups, salads, hand-crafted sandwiches, BBQ ribs, shrimp, steaks, pastas, and our customer favorite, Canadian walleye. We have a childen's menu, a wine and beer list - and you'll want to save room for homemade desserts, too!

Our take-out bakery features homemade pastries, scones, muffins, cookies and cakes. Perfect for a picnic or parties!
